Swimming pleasure in a rural gem in Tuscany

This wooded campsite in the rolling Chianti region offers everything that a good Italian life can offer. Orland in Chianti Glamping Resort is situated in the middle of the Tuscan countryside. The campsite has a lovely terrace for delicious meals and a fun water park for young and old. The campsite has plenty on offer for children, and you can really relax in the beautiful lodges and cottages. If you want a day out in one of the lovely towns, you can be in the ancient streets of Arezzo, Florence or Siena in less than an hour.

Charming campsite in the Chianti country

The Chianti region is in the centre of the ‘boot of Italy’. This much-loved part of Tuscany is well-known for its picturesque landscapes, extensive vineyards and countless historic villages. The terraced Orland in Chianti Glamping Resort in the province of Arezzo is tucked away among the idyllic hills and woods. This luxurious campsite comes into view at the end of winding roads with many bends and beautiful views.

Stylish swimming

Be warned; you won’t get the children away from the lovely swimming pool complex. Wonderful swimming in the heated water, down the wide slide as many times as possible, then recover in the bubble bath. The attractive style of building with varying heights and deckchairs under the trees make this complex extra special. You can keep an eye on the water babies from the adjoining patio, which gives you a feeling of safety.

Energy for ten

Spotty is the campsite’s happy mascot and will become the children’s idol in no time. The entertainment team are ready every day with tireless energy to draw, ride ponies or dance, but also for great musical shows in the evenings. And if you like exercising, take yourself to the swimming pool for an aqua-fit lesson or rent an e-bike or mountain bike and cycle round the surroundings of the campsite.

Sample Tuscan cuisine

Surely nothing is better than a good dinner with a famous Chianti? The restaurant is located slightly higher up which offers lovely views of the illuminated swimming pool from the terrace. Thanks to an extensive menu, connoisseurs of game can indulge themselves. As for fresh pizzas, they come straight out of the wood burning stove. Take a seat, because the tables are already set on this attractive terrace.

Top rate glamping

As you walk among the trees you will see many types of original accommodation. Everyone in the luxurious Airdreamer sleeps upstairs on the roof, and the modern mobile homes have a covered veranda. Wood is widely used; not only is it beautiful but it also gives that wonderful outdoor feeling. The compact camping pitches are close to each other in the middle of the campsite, pleasantly located under pine trees.

Medieval trips out

If you want to explore in Italian style, rent a genuine Vespa at the campsite. You can make a great trip of only 8 km to the medieval town of Radda, with 12th century buildings with beautiful old facades. You won’t believe your eyes in the larger Tuscan towns either. The picturesque centre of Florence and the Piazza Grande in authentic Arezzo will make a big impression on you.
